If you feel you may be called to reach and love the Japanese in Japan, and you desire to grow in your love for God, we would love for you to enroll on our DTS!

As a student at YWAM Sendai, you will become a part of a pioneering missional community as you learn and grow.

The Application Process​

At any time in this process, feel free to connect with us via Discord, introduce yourself, and ask us any questions. You can also send us an email at ywamsendai.students@gmail.com

  • First, fill out the DTS student application form! Once we receive this, we will send Character Reference forms to a church leader/pastor that knows you, and a mature Christian friend.

  • Once we have received the references, the DTS leaders will pray and discuss about whether we feel this is where God wants you to be. We will then let you know if you are accepted or not.

  • Once you have been accepted, you will need to pay a deposit of ¥100,000 in order to secure your place on the school. You can find details on how to send this deposit, as well as the remainder Lecture fees, here. Once we have received this, we will register you for the DTS!

  • If you haven't already, now is the time to join us on Discord. This is where we will primarily communicate from this point on.

  • As you move forward with fundraising, you may also find it helpful to start learning some Japanese!
